Troubleshoot the Hyperdrive integration

To troubleshoot the Hyperdrive integration:

  1. Examine Okta syslog for events. If no events are shown then the EPIC agent may be misconfigured. Possible causes include, user is not configured or enrolled in assigned Okta MFA factor.
  2. Ensure that the user is assigned to the group associated with the Hyperdrive application.
  3. Ensure that the user is enrolled in MFA. Has the user previously connected into Okta and enrolled? If not enroll the user before continuing.
  4. Ensure that the app sign-on policy prompts for MFA for the assigned users of the created Okta group for Epic Hyperdrive users.
  5. For machines that run the Hyperdrive agent, ensure that the system clock is synced with a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server. In the local OS settings, set time synchronization to Automatic to keep the clock within the required threshold for authentication tokens.
