Install and configure the RADIUS Agent

You can install the Okta RADIUS server agent on Windows and Linux servers.

Before you install a RADIUS agent, configure multifactor authentication (MFA) in your Okta org:

  1. Sign in to your Okta org as an admin.
  2. Create MFA enrollment policies. See MFA enrollment policies.
  3. Create an app integration. See App integrations.
  4. Create an app sign-on policy. See App sign-on policies.
  5. Install and configure the RADIUS agent. Each RADIUS agent has specific configuration requirements. Consult the vendor documentation for your RADIUS agent for information about which MFA factors it supports, and for detailed configuration steps.
