Supported features

The following features and functionality are available with a Qualtrics XM integration.

Feature Description
Push new users
  • You can create new users in Okta and push them to Qualtrics XM.
  • The basic fields required to create a user are username, password, firstname, lastname, usertype, email, and language.
  • Users can only be assigned one of the default Qualtrics XM user types. Custom or brand-specific user types aren't supported.
  • You can only provide one value for the usertype and language fields.
Push profile updates
  • You can update user profiles in Okta and push changes to Qualtrics XM.
  • You can update password, firstname, lastname, usertype, email, and language.
  • Okta doesn't recommend updating usernames. If a username update is required, you must update both the Username and Email address fields at the same time to ensure the change processes successfully.
Push user deactivation

You can deactivate or disable users in Okta to deactivate or disable them in Qualtrics XM.

Import new users

You can import users created in Qualtrics XM into Okta. Okta only imports users that it can actively manage. This means Okta only imports users assigned to one of the 12 supported default or global user types. Okta maintains all user attributes and organizational data during the import process.

Import profile updates

Okta downloads and applies profile updates made in Qualtrics XM to the local user profile in Okta. Okta maintains consistent user data across systems by mapping users into Qualtrics XM.

Reactivate users

You can reactivate or enable users in Okta to reactivate or enable them in Qualtrics XM.

Import user schema

You can download the user schema from Qualtrics XM into Okta along with custom attributes.

Entitlement Management
  • The integration supports Entitlement Management. You maintain roles in the integration by assigning users to a user type.
  • This integration supports only the default Qualtrics XM user types. These are global roles like brand admin, licensed user, and CX admin that apply consistently across all accounts. Custom or brand-specific user types aren't supported.
Push groups
  • You can push groups and their members from Okta to Qualtrics XM.
  • You can add or remove group members.
  • You must specify a group type when you create a user in Qualtrics XM.
