Integrate Qualtrics XM with Okta

Enable provisioning for the Qualtrics XM app instance to integrate with Okta.

Before you begin

  • You have a Qualtrics XM enterprise account.
  • You have a Qualtrics XM API Key Token. To generate or view your token, log in to your Qualtrics XM account, click your profile, and select Account Settings. Go to the Qualtrics IDs tab and locate your token in the API section.
  • You have a Qualtrics XM Group Type ID. To find the Group Type ID, go to the Group Types section in your Qualtrics XM account, inspect the page element, select the group, and find the Group Type ID in the HTML p1 attribute.
  • You have permission to manage apps in Okta.
  1. In the Okta Admin Console, go to Applications > Applications.
  2. Click Browse App Catalog.
  3. Search for and select Qualtrics XM, and then click Add Integration.
  4. On the General Settings page, enter a label in the Application label field.
  5. Click Done.
  6. Go to the Provisioning tab and click Integration.
  7. Select the Enable API Integration checkbox.
  8. Configure the API integration:
    • Enter your Qualtrics XM Base URL.
    • Enter your Qualtrics XM API Key and Group Type ID.
  9. Click Test API Credentials to authenticate with Qualtrics XM.
  10. When the authorization process is complete, click Save.
  11. Select To App under Settings. Click Edit, and then select the provisioning features that you want to enable.
  12. Click Save.
